The horizontal line dividing the playfield into two equal halves (Court A & Court B).
The midline is the center line separating the two teams. Raiders must cross it into opponent court and touch it to return safely!
Crossing the midline with cant initiates the raid. Returning to touch any part of the midline with any part of the body while in cant completes a successful raid.
Raider reaches out finger and touches the midline while tackled by 3 defenders, scoring raid points before cant expires.
Umpire checks hand/body contact with midline.
Teach raiders to extend arms towards midline when tackled near center.
